B - A pairing you initially didn’t consider but someone changed your mind.
I never mentally put Merrill and Carver together until I saw them mentioned on Tumblr. Maybe it’s because I played a rogue so Carver died or because in Hubby’s play through with a mage he rarely used Carver because “He’s a whining pansy” and went for Merrill himself. Having seen some of the comments though and gone and read conversations I think they sound plausible and cute. Plus I have to admit I have a soft spot for the idea of templars and dalish hooking up. I BLAME YOU THIGH HIGH DALISH! *shakes fist*
H - Do you prefer characters from real action series or anime series.
Uh…I don’t know. What do video games count as? Honestly I like character that are well rounded and much like people in real life. One of the reasons I love Bioware games I suspect is that they don’t ever have flat characters. There is always dimensions to them, even if you have to look a bit harder or through initial reactions to see them. So I would have to say that my preference for real vs. anime is, whatever has a better story with strong characters going.
L - Your favorite fanartist/author gives you one request, what do you ask for.
Not going to lie, if it was an artist I would likely end up asking for either a rp character or an original character of mine. I’ve actually been dying for pics of my original characters but never feel right asking for such things. RP characters are different cause sometimes that helps someone get a feel for their characters. Author wise, I have no idea. I mean I prefer writing my own fanfics to having someone write one for me. I’d probably tell them to surprise me.
X - 3 OTPs from 3 different fandoms
Fenris and Isabela from DA2: These two are just a riot to me. I know some folks don’t like them for whatever reason but I really don’t care. There’s affection there and to me it makes a fair chunk of sense considering Fenris really hates slavers and Isabela doesn’t seem to care for them at all either. To me they stand a high chance of steadying each other, balancing each other out, and encouraging growth and change like a real couple.
Shepard and Garrus from Mass Effect: Now mind you this is not a romantic pairing, it’s a bff pairing. Garrus and Shepard (at least mine) are like brother and sister from different mothers there. The pair have been through a lot together and it all makes me think of war buddies in the trenches. Mind you I can also easily see how that might evolve into more but I prefer them as buddies. I personally want to see those two sitting on top of a freshly killed Reaper ala Legolas and Gimli after breaking the siege on Minas Tirith. I can hear Shepard going on about how a husk is twitching because it has his omni blade embedded in it’s nervous system.
Talos and Erida (my sith inquisitor) from The Old Republic: I don’t know if this is a bff pairing or a romantic one because I don’t know all the options Bioware has put in yet. However watching Talos and Erida squeal like happy school children over Sith history and archeology just makes me giggle and warms the heart a bit…at least before Erida goes zapping the crap out of people or freeing beings of untold power from prisons. Talos is just a sweet heart and I’m amused that my girl hasn’t crushed it horribly yet. I mean I know she can be an evil bitch, she does it even when Andronikos is about. I think it’s because the pirate still hasn’t done anything but talk to her yet…slacker. Either way those two are most definitely BFF’s if only for their shared love of the creepiness of sith tombs.
