oh my fucking g-d this poor woman.

yes i know she only looks out for herself and has the capability of betraying you if you out her during her rescue which in turn makes her a “bitch” to a great majority but like.

her husband was a cheat and was going to ditch her for Celine, there are enough humiliating rumours that she’s barren (which for a woman is actually pretty fucking dreadful especially when having an heir is the only way to secure your right to the throne and let’s face it she actually knows how to run a country and is capable of making tough decisions), she had to watch her father (the man who raised her on his own, mind you) spiral into a frenzied craze, she had to deal with said crazed father stepping in and saying he’d speak on her behalf, she had to speak against her father because even she realized he was getting out of hand, she had to watch her father get executed if you choose to go down that route. she’s an independent woman fighting for her right to rule in a man’s world when some bastard who has no training in leadership or politics whatsoever has more right to rule than her because he’s a guy and has the right blood for the job.

granted, she probably wouldn’t give two fucks about her consort having an affair with some elf because she had to deal with Cailan being an embarrassing cheat anyway and she’ll still be queen and that’s all that matters to her but damn.

i understand not liking a character but people really hate this woman and i can’t really fathom why.

 I don’t get it either.

I don’t know why anyone would think betraying someone’s trust and breaking their heart was a good thing to do.  Then again, people do crap like this in real life, dunno why I think they’d behave better in a game — though using the term “I” makes me nervous.

This is one of the reasons I have never let my Anora fic see the light of the public. :P
